Pope Francis encourages God’s people to become missionary disciples. In the Heart of Jesus Evangelical Life Society we recognise this call to mission, to follow Jesus more closely. It is at the heart of our life project.
With the opening of the Synod of Bishops in October 2021, we can join our prayer to that of the Pope. In this video, Francis asks all Christians to be missionary disciples in their daily life and work, witnessing to their encounter with Christ through lives with a Gospel flavour. It is a way of incarnating in a different way what our life project in n°21 asks of us:
Our presence before our brothers and sisters wants to be active and loving. It is, for us, a place of mission and contemplation. We will strive to live it with humility and joy, even though we are not
