Finding signs of hope while the Coronavirus epidemic is a challenge. Yet we do not, we must not despair. This global crisis invites us to persevere. It is changing our way of life, challenging our economic, health and social systems, and exposing our fragility of creatures as Pope Francis reminds us.
As a team, we are invited to look at this crisis. Let us ask ourselves what it moves in us. From the text of Chantal Girod given during the day of re-entry of the parish priests of the diocese of Saint Denis and the one taken from the Word of God to the Tierces of November 12, 2020 (1 Jn 3, 23-24):
This is God's commandment: to have faith in His Son Jesus Christ, and to love one another as He commanded us. And he who is faithful to his commandments remains in God, and God in him; and we recognize that he remains in us, since he has given us his Spirit.
we can watch:
- How do we live this second confinement that appears very different from the first.
- How to live this epidemic time not in a binding way but as something creative, as an opportunity?
- This epidemic is pushing us to new patterns": how do we have or will we change?
- What hope does this crisis give rise to in us?
