The feast of the Le Coeur de Jésus : un cœur ouvert au mondeHeart of Jesus is an opportunity for the SVECJ to return to the sources of its charismeart of Jesus is an opportunity for the SVECJ to return to the sources of its charismeast of the Heart of Jesus is an opportunity for the SVECJ to return to the sources of its charismeart of Jesus is an opportunity for the SVECJ to return to the sources of its charismlet us remember the words of one of our founders, the Jesuit Pierre de Clorivière

let us remember the words of one of our founders, the Jesuit Pierre de Clorivière: “The Heart of Jesus is the living and vivifying symbol of divine charity; it is all love for God and for mankind (…).the love of the Heart of Jesus for God is the love that the Son of God has for his Father; the love of the Heart of Jesus for mankind is formed on the model of the love that his Father has for him: ‘As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you’; it has no other limits than the immense capacity of the Heart of the Man God (Pierre de Clorivière, 14 February 1799).

The Heart of Jesus, a transparent sign of God’s love

“This Heart of Jesus is the most transparent sign of God’s love for mankind. Passionate love that makes him take our human paths, gentle and humble that offers itself without imposing itself, merciful, present to wounded hearts, that reconciles and opens to his peace… In the midst of solidarity and divisions, solitude and fraternity, Jesus offers us a heart to heart with himLife Project of the SVECJ

Renewed in the Heart of Jesus

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will take away the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Ez 36:26. In the current context that our world is living, our Church and all of us, once again need to let ourselves be renewed in the heart of Jesus which is open to others.

Do we have an open heart

In Fratelli Tutti, the Pope asks us! “Are our hearts open to those fleeing serious humanitarian crises? Do we consider migrants as full citizens and not as minorities with all that this implies in terms of feelings of inferiority…”

Fear of the heart of Jesus?

“The poor evangelise us” is an expression that we often hear, even in the teaching of the Church’s Magisterium. But what exactly does it mean? What specifically happens in the encounter and the journey with people in great precariousness? Do we have the Love of Jesus’ heart to look at the other, at others who are brothers and sisters and who live in situations that disturb?

The infinite Love of God

This feast of the Sacred Heart reminds us especially of God’s infinite love for each of us. We become aware of Jesus’ heart to heart with each of us. He gave his life for us, he gave us everything, even to the point of allowing his heart to be pierced after his death (Jn 19:34) The open heart of Jesus is the sign of God’s infinite love for all people on earth. Good shepherd, bread of life, abundant source of love, open to the realities of our world! Shouldn’t we bear witness with our lives, wherever we are, to this love drawn from the heart of Jesus? And as we say in SVECJ: to take the world to heart, like Him!
