Each year we have a new opportunity, to be drawn into the furrow of Lent: a path of life in depth with Jesus Christ. The annual return of the liturgical seasons offers us the opportunity to retrace our steps towards the light of Easter without denying the depth of the very real sufferings of all humans disfigured by injustice and war.
Milestones for our Lent
Prayer, sharing, abundant encounters are the milestones of our Lenten journey, the joy in our hearts of being in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. These milestones constantly turn us towards others, with the acute awareness of God’s urgent call to become his active witnesses.
Communicating with the Passion of Christ
Passion of Jesus Christ for all humiliated, helpless humans to be lived during this Lent. Passion borne victoriously in the night of the Cross, in the refusal of hatred, thanks to forgiveness. C, but embody this orientation of life.
The offering of our lives
Our active compassion then becomes our offering to God, united with that of his Risen Son who opens the way for us by blowing his Spirit of creative love… Good road to live this Lent as an opportunity!
